This BTE fund is designed to do just what its name says: build an endowment for WDIY. As our organization continues to grow and develop, an endowment fund is critical to our financial future. Once established, investment income from this endowment will help Lehigh Valley Community Public Radio fund special projects and meet unexpected financial needs.

We would like to thank Terry Ingalsbe who provided the incentive to establish this Building-to-Endowment fund. Terry's late husband, Truman Ingalsbe, presented his very popular Sunday morning program "Meanderings" on WDIY until his untimely death in late 2005. Terry challenged us to establish this fund to help ensure the long-term financial health of the community radio station that Truman valued so much.
Terry made an initial contribution to start the BTE fund and promised subsequent contributions during the following five years. We now invite you to follow Terry's lead in making a contribution to the BTE to help us build a solid Endowment Fund.
